Stephen C Ormsby was an IT professional for twenty years before deciding to lead a more creative life. He has always loved the idea of writing novels and had written four when Long Lost Song came along, demanding to be published. This is his first, but will not be his last. He lives in South Gippsland with his wife, two children and a mad cat. He has travelled extensively, is an avid reader and enjoys listening to a wide range of music.

M J Ormsby is from a long line of creatives, so it comes as no surprise she enjoys working in this industry. Before the age of 10 M J had a camera in her hands.

Some of these earliest photos won local awards, leading her to a career in graphic design working as design assistants, photo retouching for different companies and also a very successful exhibition of photographic works. Her career led her to a small animation studio, Outback Films.

From this vast experience, this gives her a natural ability to frame her design work, finding a way to have the necessary elements within the picture and giving them their space. 
One of her best examples to date is Long Lost Song by Stephen C. Ormsby

Even in this ebook age, people still want to see a book cover, and especially want something to grab them.  Stunning, visual covers which M J produces convey the story, and bring credence to a novelist. 
From the stunningly simplistic to the complex, M J’s covers give a book that “I want to read that” charisma.

I cannot stand still for long, it quite saddens me.
I try to make the move to see new things, for my mind to open up and be useful.
